WISH & GRIN · BETA

A little help goes a long way.

The essentials for making, fixing, and printing your card.

Do you sell my contact information?

No. Wish & Grin does not sell or rent your personal information. We use tester profiles for beta participation, support, selected emails, and optional test-card shipments. Service providers process information to run the site and fulfill shipments. See How we use your information in the footer for details and your choices.

How do I join the beta?

Visit Join beta, sign in with ChatGPT, and save your profile. While places are available, your account receives three free card credits. If enrollment is full or paused, you join the waitlist; check Join beta or Account for your status. The owner can admit waitlisted testers. Personal invite links are still honored. Rejoining does not reset your credits.

What does one card credit include?

One new card includes the outside and inside artwork, one correction round with up to two small changes, and a watermark-free print PDF. Your account shows your remaining allowance. A credit is currently allocated when you create a saved card; retrying that same card does not use another credit. Deleting it does not restore a credit.

What kind of photo should I use?

Choose a clear photo of one person, with their face visible and well lit. The studio prepares readable photos automatically and accepts files up to 20 MB. If your phone photo cannot be opened, try a screenshot of it or another JPG or PNG. Only upload photos you have permission to use.

How long does a card take?

Both sides can take a few minutes. The outside is created first and guides the inside artwork so they look like one card. You can return to a saved design from Account or the studio.

What if generation fails?

Open the failed saved card and choose Try rendering again. If the outside has not been created, the studio prepares the saved photo again before retrying. You can also replace the photo on that unfinished card. Use the same saved design to avoid spending another credit. Contact us if it keeps failing.

How do corrections work?

Once both sides are ready, you can request one correction round containing up to two small changes, such as a shirt color or spelling fix. Review both sides before using it. Your personal note belongs on the inside. AI can still miss details, so check the corrected result too.

Can I enlarge the preview?

Yes. Select Zoom preview on either side. Use the plus and minus buttons to enlarge it up to 300%, drag or scroll to explore, and choose Fit to screen to reset. Use the close button or Escape to return.

How do I download and print my card?

When both sides are ready, select Download print PDF. It contains two aligned pages without preview watermarks. Print on US Letter paper in landscape, at Actual size or 100%, using double-sided printing with flip on short edge. Trim at the corner marks and fold at the center marks to make a 5 × 7-inch card. Printer alignment can vary; try plain paper first. For manual double-sided printing, follow your printer’s paper-reloading instructions.

Can I download my card again?

Yes. Sign in to the same account, open your saved design, and select Download print PDF again. Keep your own downloaded copy.

What happens to my photo and details?

Your photo and card details are sent to OpenAI to create the artwork and stored by the studio so your design can be resumed and corrected. You can delete a saved design and its photo using Delete this design & photo in the studio. Credit-use records remain so deletion does not reset the allowance.
